fantastic four… vol. 3

after vol1. and vol. 2, this is a very natural make-up look….. still (for the sake of minimizing, and a good old challenge to myself) i only used a total of four make-up products: foundation, eye shadow, lip and blush cream and mascara.

it might just be me… but i feel like with a very natural make-up look, i like to make sure that my complexion is very even, since there is no shimmer or bright lips to distract from little skin-unhappy-ness. mac cosmetics face and body foundation, is one of my go-tos, when i am looking for a light-but-effective-easy-to-use product. with my fingers (of course) i worked it into my skin, starting at the center and not sparing my eye lids.

(i have not worked with many bobbi brown products before… but the fact that they are both easily applicable with my fingers, and multi purpose makes them hot candidates for a coveted spot in my make-up bag.)

i used the long-wear cream shadow in bone. most of the cream shadows, out there, are not convincing, because they tend to settle into the creases very quickly….. but not this one! which also makes for a great eye-shadow base. since were are working with a limited amount of products it is the only color i am wearing on my eyelids.

pot rouge for lips and cheeks in blush rose is another product in a perfect in-between color. the creamy texture has a very nice hydateated juicy finish.

miss manga, by l’oreal paris is my current mascara that almost… aaaaalmost kicked my all time favorite lash architect from the mascara-thrown.
