i was having one-of-those-days…. (everything is stupid… everything feels heavy… everyone is unfriendly……no one is smiling) but i couldn’t be a crabby-pants for long, after i noticed the light falling so beautifully through the streets of kota kinabalu. my smile and therefore (almost) everyone else’s came right back. (but i’m not gonna lie…the coffee i had first, might have helped a bit too.)
this quote on @beautifulsimplehealth’s instagram says it much better: “it’s our own mental attitude which makes the world what it is for us. our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. learn to see things in the proper light“
yes, it’s something we can learn. yes, i do believe that one-of-those days are inevitable (even after coffee), but are totally natural and just part of life. but just be sure that light constantly surrounds us, even if we can’t see it….
